Presentation:
I have always been interested in understanding systems and found help in Mathematics and Physics.
For bachelor’s I studied Computational Physics and graduated with a thesis on organic semiconductors for photopatterned FETs. The practical work at Joanneum Research Institute (Austria) inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in materials science, at the West University of Timișoara (Romania). As I became more interested in biotechnology, for the thesis, I worked in a research group at the University of Kassel (Germany) on the investigation of biopsy sampled tissues with the aid of ultra-short laser pulses and ANN.
As for the present day, this ongoing project that I am very excited to be a part of offered the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary, international environment and to contribute to the advancements in the field of vision restoration.
