On June 19-21, 2023, our ESRs went to Vienna in Austria. They were welcomed by the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien) for a special training on thesis and paper writing.

June 19th

10:00 – 16:00 : Scientific writing session 1 by Dr. Sophie Fessl

16:00 – 17:00 : Lab visit

17:00 – 18:30 : Round table discussion: PhD, what’s next?

 

June 20th

10:00 – 15:00 : Scientific writing session 2 by Dr. Sophie Fessl

15:00 – 16:30 : Online session with an editor of Journal of Neural Engineering with Dr. Andrew Malloy

 

June 21st

09:30 – 12:30 : Recruitment process and job applications outside academia by Melike Riollet from the Association Bernard Gregory

13:30 – 17:30 : Preparing job interviews outside academia with Melike Riollet from the Association Bernard Gregory
