ENTRAIN VISION

enTRAIN Vision Satellite Meeting

Taking place right after the European Retina Meeting (ERM)

VENUE: Neue Aula, Geschwister-Scholl- Platz, 72074 Tübingen
The Neue Aula is the Main University Building.

The enTRAIN Vision Satellite Meeting will take place in the Northern Wing, Room SN 236, of the same building in which the ERM meeting will have taken place during the days before.

The “European Network for integrated TRAINing on Innovative Therapies for VISion RestoratiON” (ENTRAIN VISION) is being funded by the European Commission and involves 10 universities, research organisations and companies from 8 European countries. (More information here)

In this satellite meeting Early Stage Researchers (ESRs), i.e. Doctoral Students. will present their work on innovative technologies that have the ultimate goal to support restoration of vision in blind patients. Their training in academic institutes and industry has now been completed and will be presented at this final enTRAIN Vision meeting. Additionally Prof. Thomas Euler will give the keynote lecture. There will be also a special event, a Patient Session, where Patient Miikkaa Terho will discuss his experiences with Electronic Retina Implant Alpha during the clinical trial in Tübingen.
