On September 20, 2023, the final event of the enTRAIN Vision project is taking place in Eberhard Karl University of Tübingen (EKUT) in Germany. It will take place right after the European Retina Meeting (ERM)

In this satellite meeting Early Stage Researchers (ESRs), i.e. Doctoral Students. will present their work on innovative technologies that have the ultimate goal to support restoration of vision in blind patients. Their training in academic institutes and industry has now been completed and will be presented at this final enTRAIN Vision meeting. Additionally Prof. Thomas Euler will give the keynote lecture. There will be also a special event, a Patient Session, where Patient Miikkaa Terho will discuss his experiences with Electronic Retina Implant Alpha during the clinical trial in Tübingen.
